Nanny McPhee arrives to help a harried young mother who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war, though she uses her magic to teach the woman's children and their two spoiled cousins five new lessons.
I saw this with the kids yesterday. It was a really cute kids movie. Some of the fantasy was really out there lol. but you have to keep in mind that the targeted age group is fairly young. The kids said that they liked it better than the first Nanny McFee movie. I would give it a 4/5.
I remember February 2006 when I saw the first one in Europe. Hungary, Budapest I was 14 and I enjoyed it really much just as yesterday age 19 and it still has its great charms :D
Its a great family enjoyment and truly I didnt find any charms a sequel has already been rumored Im saying it wont hurt I wouldnt mind anything Im glad if they make another but dont mind if they dont its a great series full of great laughs if theres a third I hope it will be as good as the first two
As lovely as the first. However, I was disappointed the kids were not bad long enough in this movie. Maggie Gyllenhaal gave a superb performance, she is truly a gifted actress. Acting was A+ across the board. A really wonderful treat for kids and kids at heart. 9.5/10
