Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from the Borivali section of Mumbai, suffers from Asperger's syndrome, a form of high-functioning autism that complicates socialization. The adult Rizwan marries a Hindu single mother, Mandira, in San Francisco. After 9/11, Rizwan is detained by authorities at LAX who mistake his disability for suspicious behavior.
This movie should've won many awards. Every thing about this movie is awsome! I am an american, only speak english but you do not need to speak Hindi to understand what this movie is saying. A very powerful movie indeed. I give it 10/10

This is one movie I would recommend..beyond entertain it has a great message to pass across..Shahrukh Khan did an amazing job in pulling off his role..i would rate it a sure 10/10..awesome movie..deserve an award..from scripting..to an amazing storyline to casting and plot

Beautifully crafted and wonderfully directed. This movie goes to show the strength of a human courage. Despite him being different, he keeps his promise to his wife and does his best to understand life's complex ideologies and ettiquette, whether they be political or emotional. It was nice to see how she was not embarrased to love him. I also agree that this movie should be one of the top ones of the decade. I do wish i spoke the language, but the message and mood is still comes accross.. look for the links that have decent subtitles.
I'm at a loss for words when it comes to describing just how truly amazing this movie is all the way across the board. 5/5. Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen, a top ten film all time for me.
I would recommend every human being on this planet to watch this movie, great movie, what a great finishing, wonderful acting by shahrukh, love, innocence message of love n peace, romance, every minute of the film has is worth to watch. i think, everyone should see this movie. to understand, because there are a lot of people that doesent seem to understand, the fact that we are different.
I don't speak hindi, but you don't have to speak hindi to appreciate this movie. Shahrukh Khan and Kajol did a great job. You really felt their emotions through the screen. I normally would have prefered sub-titles but you don't need them to understand this movie. There are moments in english but the message of the film shines through. I can't find anything in the plot or the acting to score bad. I give it a 10/10 (#8 Link is Good)
