This movie has a great cast, but it borders on a B-Movie. With that said, the movie has lots of action, blood, guts and gore, not to mention some beautiful women. Kept my interest up till the end. 3/5

I've been looking forward to this but not with great expectations.
"Grindhouse" are spoofs on the old horror flicks.
In spoofing a B movie, Rodriguez has made .. a B movie. Just with big names.
He's clever but no genius. In short, he's no Tarantino and QT's hand was sorely lacking in this GH film.
It was better than I expected but still not great. 6/10

normally i like and defend rodiguez films (fav being el mariachi) but i have to say that this bored me .i will try again at sum point.i am glad to see that danny trejo got a leadin role at last(but then again if he told u he wanted a leadin role u wudnt say no wud u.lol.i think thats why he hired seagal as well, just incase it kicked off)

I really wish Robert Rodriguez would stop making movies.
I mean, I understand its supposed to be some kind of spoof movie- but that word implies that it is going to be funny, campy, or sarcastic (at least on some level).
This was none of those things.
The story isn't cheesy. Its just awful. Awful in a way that I can't even begin to describe, in any language. I can't even use an analogy to describe how much of a waste of time this movie is.
And I've never thought of a movie in this manner before.
Ever.
Not even 1 star from me for this pile.
(Unfortunately 0 is not an option I can choose from here. Moderators, can we get a "OMG this is really terrible and will make your unborn babies stupid if you watch it" rating? lol)

I say it's funny because it's a spoof, you can't help but laugh at some of the intentional cliches, sideways tribute, irony and inside jokes.

I’m glad I could get over the first 5’ of excessive violence and gore to get to enjoy a very entertaining parody that makes use of icons and myths of "south of the border". With a smart plot plus an atypical mixed cast of outstanding actors, it really was fun to watch.

this movie to me is awesome almost liked every bit of the movie but there came a point where it started to get a little too too much of an exagreation but still all in all i loved it,this is one movie that didnt show all the good stuff in the comercials and ruin the want to see feeling yea get when they advertise movies then they usually turn out to be not so good,this one i may watch again ,5/5 a watch for sure fun and exciting

Typical rodriguez flick with lots of big guns,bigger knives and senseless killings.the film had a great cast alright but the plot was a bit weak for me..its just lots of action culminating in a crazy shootout at the end..not to be taken too seriously and action lovers will enjoy.6.5/10

A bloody good comedy! Lots of familiar actors in campy roles but the 10 mins Lindsay Lohan was on screen proves she is no longer the talented actress she once was, just a tabloid curiosity. Worth watching, but only for free on some other site. Don't waste your $ at a theater. 3/5
