A woman (Amy Adams) who has an elaborate scheme to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, an Irish tradition which occurs every time the date February 29 rolls around, faces a major setback when bad weather threatens to derail her planned trip to Dublin. With the help of an innkeeper, however, her cross-country odyssey just might result in her getting engaged.
Well I went to see this flick along with Daybreakers and Youth in Revolt the other 2 movies that opened our first Friday in 2010. Well but now its Leap Year we'll get to the rest later.
Its an ok movie the usual predictable romantic Comedy Im not big on these but I was surprised it soared over my expectations great humor great actors great plot I just really didnt get the girl

but yeah at least somthing good came out of it.
I think for the look on Romantic comedies I think this movie opened our year pretty well :D I'll give it .. 8/10 yep onto Daybreakers
Wow its great to look back on comments and these were my starting comments of 2010 films :D
Right now I saw the movie for the second time and just took it out of the DVD player .. yep :D I bought it and I liked it first time didnt disapoint now either always knew it will get into my DVd collection bit late considering it came out on Home Video on May 4 and today is June 17 but still i love the film.
And I'll keep going to the movies geting more great experiences and leaving more comments and probably will keep on expanding my DVD collection with other 2010 flicks
great dynamics between the two leads..goody two shoes analy retentive american meets rough and ready comical irishman..yep..theres a few sparks.
If you have an ounce of romance in your heart this one might have you in tears..its sure to get you laughing anyroad.
Very entertaining romantic comedy with Adams getting better and better in her roles..one thing though..Ireland would never look like that on Feb 29..it would be more likely covered in snow and freezing cold..but at the end of the day I am all for artistic freedom .
I love this film. I've watched it 3 times now lol.
Most films i watch, i like to skip it to my favourite part but this film has all these great moments in every scene so it's perfect for me :)
Liked it! One of the better romantic comedies out there.. and it seems less know one because the actors are not as high of a profile.. Too bad cause it outshines just about every r. comedy out there except say "It's too complicated".. but that is a great legendary actor line up, and kinda given.
