I decided to play the “Alfred Hitchcock” game [you know the one, where you try to spot him in his films] with the Simon Baker films. This was the first that I watched and now I am going to go through his repertoire, minus Restaurant, Judas Kiss, Love from Ground Zero, 1998; Sunset Strip 2000; The Affair of the Necklace 2001; The Key to Reserva 2007 and his latest The Killer Inside Me 2010, as I cannot find these online, yet. So if anyone has any information as to where to watch these, would love to hear from you. Now onto Most Wanted. See you all on the other side of this year lol.
Kevin spacy, Russell crowe, Guy pearce and Kim basinger did an exellent, amazing wonderful job. Simon Baker so cute, he was so young, this little kid but as now he is hansome and talented.
All great and unbearable actress.
And This Film is a CLASSIC pice of work with everything you want, action, romance, comedy, hansome people and LA, hollywood.
This movie is certainly a milestone but I am sorry to say that I was unable to watch it from this website. VeoH did not give me the full movie though I have VeoH TV pluggin and I could not see from other pluggin as it didnt work and said its blocked from this region.

L.A. Confidential is a very good and intriguing piece of moving picture. The brilliancy of the script itself, deserves a standing ovation, because it is very thought-out and nerve wrecking. The direction by Curtis Hanson gives this intense and complex movie softness and makes a gentle approach to the audience, because none of the material is forced through, but instead it rests quietly in the subconsciousness of the audience the whole time. The plot is just awesome and stands out from any of the former (and later) police/criminal movies, because we get to experience the action behind the curtain, from a passive point of view. The plot has a great balance between tossing us into the action, and gently luring us through one mystery after another, trying to find the answers. The actors give the ideas of the script and the characters faces, and gives us a chance to relate and identify with the characters involved. Each of them delivers great performances: Spacey as always smart, sly and above all believable, though he does not exceed his brilliant performance in "The Usual Suspects". Crowe with his, so far, best performance in my opinion, with temper and depth. Pearce with an OK performance without really reaching the top, but fills out his character nicely. Devito is amusing and cool and does everything he can to contribute to this movie. Basinger with her Oscar-winning role, plays the beautiful blond convincingly and spices up the last aspect of the movie, with splendor and depth as well. All togehter this makes one hell of a good movie. Fast, smart, complicated, exciting, raw and above all believable and entertaining. Well done by the creators of L.A. Confidential. 9.5/10.
