though loads of flashbacks on similar romantic spy assassin romantic movie..can't help thinking of this french spy romantic movie i'd seen before. nevetheless nice to get through any rainy day. Eventhough don't really like Tom Cruise, but yes, he has talent. as in different role, different feel.

Bruce is too easygoing and casual to be gentlemanly while Tom Cruise is like a polite gentleman (minus his irritated scene). Apart from that,yeah i get what you mean. And I think it's the organ song from the plane that made sound French.

Great act by tom cruise wich will never age proably and stay hansome kinda like the orphan girl if you know what i mean :O hahhaha
Cameron Diaz is just a beauty, she is also AWSOME i must say =)

I definitely did. They are both very charismtic and I think they clicked pretty well.
Edit: Your criticism was welcome, if somebody responds I will always reply if I can but your reaction is bizarre. You appear to wish to criticize but your blood boils at the temerity if one defends their view. This exchange was quite benign until you rather bafflingly spat your dummy out there. Such bitterness. Decent summer fun movie with a good storyline. I'm a bit puzzled though with the choice of Cruise and Diaz. I saw no chemistry between them, and their effort to prove that their still young and capable in shooting action movies was a bit annoying. I would expect a few clever, H.Ford style lines [as in the latest Indiana Jones - hints on the age and all that], but I guess that was too much to ask..he's just..nearly 50. Don't get me wrong, he's not old, but the particular movie, in my opinion needed a relatively younger lead actor. Diaz, still elegant and beautiful, but still a bit outdated for this kind of an action flick, I would consider an actress from the line of S.Johansson more appropriate.
The cinematography was quite good so was the direction, I rate this 3/5

Cruise's character had a lot of army experience then a long standing career in the CIA. 40's seems about right. His getting involved with a woman in her 30's therefore sounds about right as well. It's the only part of the movie which is remotely realistic. Harrison Ford was in his mid 60's when he made Crystal Skull.
I think Diaz should be applauded for getting a role like this at her age. She's always been good at comedy and better than most of the younger, more obvious choices.
