Kansas City Murder Factory is a documentary film that explores the murder epidemic in the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City Murder Factory is an unscripted experimental documentary told from the perspective of the victim. In the film both observational and traditional forms of filmmaking collide to expose Kansas City's most taboo topic: Murder. This truly inspirational film shows the many hurdles and struggles of the victim's families as they fight to get justice from a system, which manufactures injustice. The film also presents the many challenges of organizations and individuals trying to decrease violent crime in Kansas City, includes compelling commentaries from Kansas City's top spoken word artists.
Okay So I understand trying to change your community but it starts with ownership. Stop blaming everything around you and start taking up the blame change starts at home. There was a woman that said repression oppression and suppression.. How long are you going to keep crying about this. For example I asked an instructor about a certain class that was supposed to be starting up all she had said was I don't know they didn't tell me anything meaning the head of the dept. All she meant was that they don't tell her anything until they have more information to give her and when she needs to know. Well one of the girls who also happens to be black ran her mouth saying its because your black thats why they don't tell you anything. They always trying to keep us down and out of the loop. I told her look its not a black thing its on a need to know basis because Ms. Amber doesn't know either because head of dept hasn't told her either Ms Amber is white so now what?! So shut your mouth if you don't know and stop throwing the race card. Another thing I heard in the trailer is Something about them having a leader well guess why why follow?? Why do you need a leader to do the right thing. Why can't you be your own leader?? Me if I don't see something I like I change it I don't look to someone else to do it for me. If I can't make the change then I keep speaking out until there is change. So stop looking to others to make it happen for you. I am tired of hearing the city talk about stopping violence but yet anytime a murder or anything bad happens then no one wants to talk to the cops. Well guess what the greatest evil there is, is to stand by and do nothing. Yeah so they might come after you if you speak out but by you keeping your mouth shut is enabling them to continue the wrong doing. Parents where the hell are you that you are letting your kids run the streets to begin with. Why are you not finding out who your kid is hanging out with? Why are you not checking the parents of the kids that your kid is hanging out with.!! So stop blaming them them them and start looking to yourself self self to make the change.
