If you've seen the first one, then you should see this one too. The movie was pretty good I'd give somewhere between a B and a B+ it wasn't as good as the first one. But don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad either. The story was good, but it got a little more confusing when [SPOILER] Samuel L. Jackson started to appear in the story, they didn't explain that part a lot . Direction and visuals were really good, although the action scenes weren't as long as the first one, they still were pretty nice, I loved watching Iron Man flying through New York City. There is some humor in the story but I, personally, didn't laugh as much as some other people in the theater. Overall, even if you haven't seen the original Iron Man, this movie is really good, give it a watch.

For those who like to talk about not enough action in the movies. There was more than enough action in both movies. If you ever read any of the comics like I collected mostly Marvel as well as a little DC titles you would understand that it not about have action in 75% of the movie it about the story that leads to the action. In most comic story arcs the action starts up 40-50% into it and continues until about 85-90% of the story arc. Meaning that there is only 35-50% action time needed in the film. About 40 to 58 minutes of action total that would normally be spread out through the film. However, they will normally limit that to around 30 to 40 minutes because it cost a bit more. If everyone to spend money to go see the movies even if it suck a bit the first time there will be enough money made for them to put more action scenes in the film.
It's like with the The Incredible Hulk reboot movie. It didn't do that well at the box office because the previous Hulk movie had a high turn out and suck a bit and so not that many decided to watch the next one with Ed Norton that was much much better. Because of that it is not likely they will make another Hulk movie any time soon. You have to a least give two sequels a chance before you complain and throw in the towel on the franchise otherwise the action that you want to see will never happen.

I dont agree on that, movies do not allways get better with every sequel or have bigger budgets for it. and most action in these movies is animated blue or green screen with actors hanging around on a rope doing their flying and actionhero duty, your cant tell me that they cut those scenes down with 10 mins. becouse it cost a lil more, you know they would cut down on explosions and car chases etc even the number of real life metal suits could be negotiable but for all i know these movies pretty much follow the commic so if action is needed, you'l be sure to get it.
Now only one question remains, does this movie follow the commic?
It feels like tony stark is becomming a anti-hero, wich decisions and resque's are only necessary becouse he made the suits and others want one to but hes just not sharing, and now fighting people that fight him makes him a hero.. i dont get it.
I think we need a triquel here..

Not good. Robert Downey Jr. is not a good choice for the role of Tony Stark. He's just being Robert Doney in the Iron Man suit. Lame not nearly as good as Spiderman. Marvel should make them all like that.

Actually, I thought it was good, but I do agree with you that Robert Downey Jr does play himself in many movies, which is annoying to some. Since I do like his personality in whatever he plays, I'm a bit biased in my opinion of him and his acting, lol.
