In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.
By far one of the worst flicks I have ever watched, Brad Pitt was horrible, but lets face it we dont really watch his movies for his acting abilities, its cuz he is hot!! 0.5/5 and thats just cuz he is hot
Pros: It reminds us just how awful the Nazis were, that part has a lot of truth to it.
Very well directed.
Great acting.
No parts were boring or uneventful that I can recall.
Cons: Didn't really happen. It should have, but it didn't. That's the only thing that was sort of pointless about it.
..with this budget and cast ..director ..i expected a bit more..its slow..bit farfetched story..and well just didnt do it 4 me..well i like historical correct settings probly thats it going in expecting a great war film..
I couldnt get into this movie, Due to the subtitles.
Its probably a decent film, When you can understand what they are saying.
Three stars for me, Cause I hate reading movies.
I didn't really enjoy this movie because there was to much french and german being spoken. I understand that this was necessary for the movie, however i personally prefer to listen to a movie than read it. Good story line though 5/10
I LOVE Quinten Tarantino..this movie was no exception. it may not have been "historically correct", but it was what i expect from his movies. 5/5 stars!!
