honestly fulham ive tried watching this film four or five times and never have i got beyond 40 mins..I know every body loves this but it just never hooked me..cant even say why? like the actors..and the effects are amazing
i watched it with a friend LR and i didnt understand it and couldnt get in to it but i watched it again today and it started to make more sense and i could understand more about it i guess its true what the critics said about this film better 2nd time around
one of the better movies that have come out in past few years but it does have its cheesey parts and di craprio is his usual over acting self but still it's not a bad movie it's interesting and the concept is fairly original check it out also if you're looking for some really good movies to watch check out my best films ever made playlist trust me there's something for every kind of movie fan over 100 movies to choose from let me know how you like the list by rating it
Shutter island and now Inception, two brilliantly mind twisting thrillers, Leonardo DiCaprio at his best. Inception is great, keeps you thinking, really good story and all around good performances. 4/5
Leonardo Docapio DOES it again for REAL. He brings action, fiction/fantasy, drama, thriller, romance and the feeling to one single movie and i have never seen anything moore powerfull, totally mindblowing AMAZIng and hilarious.
And the rest of the cast, woow really I'am amazed, i mean :
Joseph Gordon-Levitt , Ellen Page, Tom Hardy , Ken Watanabe , Cillian Murphy , Tom Berenger , Marion Cotillard , Michael Caine & Dileep Rao This guys and this two amazing actresses made this movie ge a whole other life then the ground and the fiction in he movie..!
i just saw this ..finally. Although it was a very good movie ..it has been done before. Again..hollywood has no original thought. Check out Dennis Quiad in Dreamscape ~ 1984. NOW that movie was original!
this movie is huge, i loved it. i found everything good in it, the storyline, the action, the special effects and leonardo di caprio is really great in this kind of movie , the ending was amazing to, and finally marion cotillard . By the way i have a question, being French, i saw the movie in theater in French and i was wondering if they used the same musical reference with the edith piaf's song in the original version?
Well, anyway probably one of the best movie i've seen for a long time 5/5
In the last 20 years it's hard to keep track of all the films with Fantasy or Sci Fi themes that directly or indirectly owed their origins to one 40s/50s/60s era Science Fiction stories of a Clarke, Bradbury, Pohl, Sturgeon, et al. These guys laid the foundation for at least 50 years worth of major movie premises and each have a certain depth and texture that is recognizable, especially to a fan of such books. I thought that was the case here too but I was wrong, at least partially so. Writer/director Chris Nolan wasn't even alive when these great tomes were written and is only indirectly influenced by them via his expressed filmmaking influences (Kubrick, Ridley Scott). However, this film has all of the fascination, depth and gravitas of a Golden Age of Sci Fi tale with the edge of a more contemporary filmmaker. A winning combination as far as I'm concerned.
Don't miss this one and don't fail to pay close attention to what's going on or you'll surely miss some of the fun. My Wife dozed off for a few minutes at a critical juncture and had to re-watch the entire thing in order to get it. This thoughtful and intelligent script will leave you pondering many of the questions and mysteries surrounding life on this veil of tears.
A decent movie, the plot on occasion gets away from you but not to the extent where you don't know what is going on. The end is I guess open to interpretation
Did the spinning top mean that he was still in the dream he had just been in and he was lost, or was his wife right and what he's thought was reality all along hasn't been? Or is it just a spinning top?
Good to see Tom Courtney getting a long overdue role in a big movie. He's a top notch actor.
