I am extremely disappointed and let down, what a waste of time and millions of dollars. Acting below 0, script was so poor, even the Mogadorians were so fake. For a movie with 50 Million $ budget, the special effects were so low quality, I'm sorry I can't find the most negative words to describe the movie.
I never thought I will give such a negative comment and rating like this one. Avoid the positive comments, to save yourself.
I'm so mad because I watched this movie. I will give 2/10, not because the movie deserves 2/10, bust I'm ashamed to rate 0/10.
i stupidly watched it as well. first of all the guy looked way too old to be in high school; he acted like an idiot and; it sure took him long enough to figure everything out about himself. he should have been more like

and the rival aliens were so goofy, they weren't even funny.
I liked it..im left wanting more n cant wait till they make more..I want to see 5,7,8,9..and what they have to contribute..6 is pretty cool

I enjoyed the movie but I feel I have watched a movie similar to this before. I wished I could remember that movie. Anyway the movie was predictable, acting was good visual effects was ok. worth the watch but I would give it 3/5 stars.
I saw this movie in the theater a few hours ago. I must say, it met and exceeded my expectations. I thought it would just be a teen drama with a few sci-fi spots throughout. This was quite a bit more than that. Of course, it had drama, and it had the sci-fi element.
I enjoyed this movie, and I recommend it to any and all who wish to see it.
I read the book just a few weeks ago actually and I feel it stuck close to the book besides two MAJOR changes

John admits to Sam at once that he's an alien while in the book he leads him on till Henri's Rescue and on that note Henri dosent die after the RESCUE he dies in battle in the final of the first book in the outside grounds of the school by a monster not a mogadorians blade through the han in the middle of the movie
those two scenes really dissapointed me but I liked the movie all in all.
