JENN10; FUNNY THAT I BUMP IN TO THIS MOVIE NOW ,THIS CLIP IS TRUE TO THE PICTURE ,WE JUST GOT IT AS A RENTER FROM ONE OF OUR FOOD MERCHANTS ,FOR THE WEEKEND , STILL HAVE IT AT HOME , I THINK I WILL SEE IT AGAIN .,A GOOD FILM BUT I THINK IS A BIT ZAPPY.
When I heard of this first I knew nothing of it, it was love at first page or first scene or first note however you put it it fits. That day I went in blindly to the theater but my tickets, yay I get a free ticket coupon I'll use t on Hugo cause its 3D rather not pay extra. Pick up paper "Its astounding" "Enchanting' "Masterpiece of our time" "Even better than the book" .. Holdup THERES A BOOK, I buy the paper bag it run across the street to the bookstore read for three hours then bought the book :D I was in love, this is AMAZING. I watched 3 movies till I got to the long awaited Hugo, I sit down put on the 3D glasses but nothing .. nothing could've prepared me for this. The music "Oh My God" I was out of the theatre I wasn't sitting I was in Gare Montparnasse in Paris following a boy whos thirst for adventure and mind of imagination knew no limits and who made a very important Discovery.
I was astounded when I got out of the theatre I was in shock honestly in all of 2011 or in a long time I wasn't so captivated with a movie since age 10 2001's first Harry Potter. I never thought I'd feel this way ever again.
Im listening to the soundtrack constantly :D Even now.
You might call me wierd I call myself inspired as a kid I wanted to act in movies to write now I even have a thirst to learn directing if I ever get somthing even close to this out of my hands it would be a miracle :D
Amazing Astounding Experience I cannot wait to see it a fourth time :D
And have it on my shelf besides its book and soundtrack :D
Well there are a lot of diffrences from the book but its as good as lets leave it at that and this movie is one of the greatest masterpieces of lets say the last DECADE :D
I watched Hugo this past week at my brothers house in Nashville. I live in Columbia,SC so I was not in the mood for a movie after 9 hours on the road driving with 3 lumbar discs that are blown. I could not take my eyes off the movie until it was through playing. I'm almost 60 yrs. old. I guess I must be entering my second childhood. It is a family movie with no rough language or nudity. I usually would not waste a plug nickle on something like this,but this is a different movie altogether. I would give it a 10 rating on the 10 scale.
