Few laughs here and there. Was unsure of what to expect but was decent flick. Unlike other people who commented on how the Irish talk, their accents and slang, I was not offended. It's quite refreshing to hear the accents and experience other cultures if only through their voices. Some people are just wound too tight I suppose. Nothing special here but worth a watch when have nothing else to do. Some of the Irish women in this film are quite attractive -- mostly 6 or 7 on the 10 point scale.

what does horse mean? Feck? I was somewhat confused as being a yank I have never heard the first one and according to the movie the second is something else and not the word it sounds like in english as we know it. so, it was a bit sluggish and entertaining but a bit drawn out to the ending which was the best part to me. I give it a 3 out of 5. language ,nudity

HA ha ha.horse is just a name used just like if you were to say.yo man or hey man.feck is used as a nice way to say the other word which i cant write but its actually an irish word that means to steal or to rob.

This was a pleasant slow paced story that builds to a few good laughs. The cast include a few great actors that I have not seen in some time.

Not a a bad comedy but not great at the same time.i did smile alot and laughed hard a few times but some of the lines seemed really rehearsed and i thought they used the word feck too much.surprised to see tiny listor and linda hamilton in this.man linda is getting old but it was nice to see the terminator reference in there.what annoyed me is they made ireland look prehistoric and its inhabitants a bit dumb allthough dont get me wrong there are really rural parts in the west with those tiny houses and tiny pubs but that kinda annoyed me.not to be taking to seriously and worth a wacth.6.5/10.
EDIT...the opening scene was hillarious and it looked like the cliffs of moher on the west coast.(a notorious suicide hot spot).

I'd never heard of this but watched on a whim, and I'm glad I did. Charming lil movie. Like others said, its a bit slow on the start but picks up nicely and has quite a few laugh out loud moments and bits that'll leave ya with a smile too.

good movie,i was going to stop it a quite a few times at the begining but as the story continued it began to get clearer and it did have some funny moments,its always nice to see the average home town girl do a couple of things that turn them into super hot looking babes,and these chicks are georgous when naked

Charming film. Most Irish movies seem to be either political or about some flavor of social inequality. This film shows something different about the people of this small Irish community. It's a cute little comedy that I enjoyed quite a bit.
