If you've read the books this movie will disappoint you as you'll see from other posts. I was surprised at what they left out that should have been in the movie. The movie was good but I think it could have been better. Regardless, I can't wait to see final 2 movies.
1,2,3 were real good To watch together with your family. From part 4.. Harry Potter is beginning to become more darker and aggresive.. Either way i like the franchise and enjoy but still.. Its getting much' darker..
Same example 'Pirates of the carribean' In the first movie u dont even see someone die or blood.. but once u reach the 3rd one u actually see people being stabbed, dying etc..
Violance sells??..

This movie was certainly better the second time around but it still was not good..I am getting tired of them cutting out scenes which they should not and adding in others that have no part in the movie at all..This whole book, which in my opinion is the 2nd best in the book series,after deathly hallows, is supposed to be about the memories and they only showed two of them.I was very much looking forward to seeing all of the memories or at least more than two, and being an avid reader of the books i was more than very very disappointed
Especially in this movie i am wondering if they even read the book or read deathly hallows because if they did then they would have included better explanations for things, and added more of the essential stuff from the book instead of the redundancies.
Sometimes i wonder who proof reads these scripts cause they are obviously as big morons as the persons who wrote them..And i also wonder if JK Rowling only cares about the money that she could let her books be turned in utter filth like this..minus the 1st,2nd and 3rd movie which were all excellent and tied in with the books
So all in all i give this movie a 3/10 and only because i liked the actors and the setting
I enjoyed this movie. Haven't read any of the books, don't care to, but I am enjoying how beautiful Hermione is turning out to be. I just didn't like that there was no clear plot to the movie. Entertainment wise, this movie is fantastic. But nothing is accomplished whatsoever so in that aspect.. ehh not so satisfying.
i totally agree with you..but i think the reason that the movie seemed to have no plot is because they cut out a lot of scenes that they should not have

It's understandable why it's not exactly like the book..like with all books turned movies a lot of things have to be cut to save time. Could have been a lot worse! :)
Good adaptation,of course there are parts that have to be cutted because play the whole book would take a lot of footage hours.
But all in all was good.
If you love the series like I do you will know that in every movie they have to cut parts of the book out. Most of the time they manage it without compromising the integrity of the film. This time they fall very short of the mark. For those that have not read the book this movie will impress. The effects are top notch and it is a very engrossing film. I understand the need to cut the movie in order to fit it into a realistic time frame. In doing so, it seems as if they cut key parts in order to allow for more comedy. They also cut out a large action scene at the end of the movie. This scene could have been added if not for the adding of a scene in the middle that was not part of the original book. Furthermore, the scene makes no sense because during which they destroy something that is key to the book in the seventh volume. Not only do they cut scenes, but they change others to suit what purpose you might ask? The unfortunate answer is I don't know. Another minor point that I noticed during the movie is, although there is not as much violence as previous movies the overall film includes adult content that in my opinion warrants the pg-13 rating.
I totally agree.. Im about to watch it again right now.. The first time I saw it was in the movie theatre and I was shocked at the changes they made to this one that arent in the book.. They have added and subtracted things like you said. Hopefully they don't butcher The Deathly Hallows (I think that's why they chopped it into 2 movies, because there are things that you cannot possibly remove from it. So instead of pissing off the fans, they just make two.. Im sure the fact that they will make more money has nothing to do with it *extreme sarcasm)
I hate that Deathly Hollows will be split into 2 parts. 10/10 for this. It kills me what happens in the Half Blood Prince..I don't ever want this to end. Sadly it has to.
harry becomes more and more a fag through the movies, its like the sixth movie, and he's suppose to be this powerful wizard yet he gets beat up in the entire movie. hes a midget too, i laugh when i see him stand next to rons brothers. ginnie is even the same size if not bigger, he has one of those nerd faces i just wanna hit too. the actors must getting tired of this crap too. they probabley cryed a bit when they found out the last book was being split onto 2 movies :p
Perhaps the worst in the series. Actually fell asleep towards the end. Too much mellowdrama and not enough action that merely seems to be a setup for deathly hollows.
I have just finished the last book, and i can't wait when it comes out. Sucks that Deathly Hallows is gonna have 2 parts. A long wait between the two release dates as well. :/
I loved this one, and im sure deathly hallows is going to be the greatest! 5/5
