Set during a massive flood started by a dam accident in a small town, Christian Slater is an armored truck guard who gets robbed by Morgan Freeman. Slater gets away with all the money and hides it. In a panic, Slater tells the sheriff about the area he hid the money in and the sheriff locks him up. Now Slater has to get to the money and keep himself alive battling the sheriff, Morgan Freeman and his crew and the elements.

I love this one. Action packed all the way through. Original, clever and keep me glued to my seat. Excellent acting done by all cast members. My favorite part was the

jet ski chase through the middle school. That looked like something I'd want to do to my middle school :).
The only flaw I could see was the varying water levels. One minuet the water appears to be a couple of feet high and in the next scene its almost as high as a telephone pole. You notice it a lot if you look closely at the beginning. Other then that great movie with a suspenseful story line. Definitely a 8.5/10
Good stuff .. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this one before. Nice action film and a little different from the usual.
Christian Slater and Morgan Freeman give solid performances, as expected.
Awesome setting too; what better way to kick off an action film than to transform a town into a water engulfed battlefield.
Definitely worth a shot. 4/5 stars.
An action packed shoot-out in “Water world” starring Christian Slater as a guard of a security truck and Morgan Freeman as one of the robbers. If you are into high speed chases in speedboats and on jet ski’s, then this is a “must see” film for you, I liked it and rate it a 4+/5.
