After their high school basketball coach passes away, five good friends and former teammates reunite for a Fourth of July holiday weekend, its a pitty that it was a holiday weekend as it would have been a much better film if they just packed up and went home!..:(
This is a bad film in just about every way!
Please stop producing films like this!

Really? I thought staying gave the movie a little meaning, focus on the important things in life. I am not one for comedy but I enjoyed this one a lot. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy this one as much as me. And usually I agree pretty spot on with your movie critiques.

Saw this at the cinema. I really liked it, pretty much filled with SNL Alumni. There were some slow parts, but overall a good clean comedy. 8.5/10

"Grown Ups" is for grown ups.
It's more of an observation with light comedy moments.
There is a lot I can relate to in this movie being of the same age as the characters and having gone through the same scenarios.
My friends, their wives, family and I have some similar parallels as the people in the film.
Maybe that's what pulled me into the story.
Obviously not for everyone - but this one was just fine for me.

This could have been so much better & is definitely not one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies. Great cast, I love Rob Schneider especially, with a few funny moments. I was just expecting more. At most I would give it a 3/5.

Maybe I was expecting too much? With all the great comedians in it combined with the "pool scene" I saw in the trailer, add a little sporting competition and I was really hoping for this generations Caddyshack. Didn't do it :(
It was an ok movie and a good way to spend a couple hours when you've got nothing to do but I don't think it's going to be one of the memorable ones. I'd give it a 7/10

Are you kidding me? With all the veteran comedians in this film you would think you would be laughing no stop..well, it didn't happen by a long shot! The story line was something that was from 100 other movies and they decided that maybe it would be funny if we put a whole bunch of funny people in it. It was crap. The story was crap and that to me is the main thing about a movie. I don't care about a bunch of funny lines just for the sake of funny but rather a funny story.. and there weren't even a few funny lines. I could go on making fun of how bad and disappointing this movie was because I've had a few drinks but I'm just NOT going to recommend this movie to anyone. ★★✩✩✩

Loved this movie! A lot better than what I was expecting. Lots of laughs and an awesome cast. I think everyone worked really well together! Loved the message! I will definitely watch this one again! 5/5 !!
