Martin Blank is a professional assassin. He is sent on a mission to a small Detroit suburb, Grosse Pointe, and, by coincidence, his ten-year high school reunion party is taking place there at the same time.
This is one of the greatest dark comedies ever. John Cusack delivers an excellent performance in a role like we've never seen him. Dan Aykroyd is equally hilarious as his rival and Minnie Driver looks great. A good story helps keep the laughs rolling.
This movie's a little gem. This is my 5th time watching it since it came out and I was just as entertained as the first time.
It's pretty much got everything you'd want in romantic comedy, including guns and death. lol
Wot is it wit u picky moany people?? huh? always looking for faults in a film! This was a good movie! I get it! Dont u?? I think there just sad in real life and hate seeing good looking people on screen, u fatso's haha good film 9/10
I TOTALLY AGGREE. ITS LIKE THEY HAVE NOTHING ELSE BETTER TO DO. DONT HATE BECAUSE YOU CANT LOOK LIKE THEM. IF IT UPSETS YOU SO MUCH PUT DOWN THE TWINKIE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
love this movie it has everything I like in a movie a rare classic I give this a rating 10 because it was great the storyline the plot the sound track even the cast was on point Minnie driver is PHAT with a drink on the side.
I've seen this movie a billion times and it never fails to make me laugh. What a cast, what a story, what a soundtrack - RIP Joe Strummer we miss you (this in a week where we lost Mikey Dread too). Go out splash the cash and buy a copy of the film and while you're at it buy the soundtrack.. you won't regret it. love it, love it, love it.
