I'm only a few minutes into this movie but Hilary Duff does not seem like the right person to play a suicidal teen. I could picture Kristen Stewert, or one of the other less 'disney' girls.

Most Duff movies I thought were cheesy this one was real and She did great.. It could of had a bit more to it but was a good movie.. The ending was okay but wish there is more.. All in all a good watch if your in the mood for a Real drama movie that hits home for so many people these days.. Duffs best movie by far.. 4/5

I thought this was a great movie..it's very hard to hold my attention for anything but i could really relate to Hilary Duff's character plus i live in NJ and just drove through Ocean Grove this past summer. I didn't really care to see her play a 17 year old thought since that's not realistic and her love interest did look 17, so it made it a bit creepy. I also thought the ending could've used a little more creativity and depth. But all around captivating movie.

I think this movie is a good lesson for young kids who are having a hard time growing up. I think they call it the adolescence identity crisis. The pain of growing up for Gretta was painful but soothing at the end. Great movie. Never seen Duff perform before. Not bad..not bad at all.

Surprisingly good story with Hilary Duff in a more adult role but Evan Ross is the real standout as Julie. Michael Murphy and Ellen Burstyn turn in great performances as well. Worth a watch. 4/5

Great scenario and very well done ! This movie is a learning tool for all ages from teenagers to the elderly. If you're smart and you did not get it, please give it a second try and realize that we MUST live in the present every single minute at a time. Hilary's role early in the movie was painful to watch, however, the boy/man that steps in he was a decent actor and as someone else said, he carried her through. Would love to see a movie with a bigger role for him.
