I'm a Southerner, and only once in a while do I find a film about the Deep South that's done in the right way, and Good Intentions does a good job. What I liked about this movie is that it doesn't offer a cheap attempt at humor every two minutes. It's a completely original story with a good cast that offers a few moments that will tickle your funny bone. Enjoyable film, worth a watch.
it was an alright watch , a bit boring actually you could surely say this was orginal because i dont think anyone could retake a boring story such as this one . the movie had a spark but it still was as dry as the state they were in. nothing exciting! 2.5/5
I enjoyed this movie and highly recommend watching it. It's a feel good type movie which will bring a smile to your face. This is the type of movie the whole family can watch, which is rare considering it didn't come from Disney.
this was a good movie i didn't get but a couple of laughs out of it but it was an interesting type of comedy with a little twist that i picked up on before it started happening, the star of the movie is just so dam cute that she played out the movie perfectly,4/5
Good Intentions (2010) - Meet Etta Milford. Loving Wife. Doting Mother. Armed Robber. Etta husband constantly blows their money on make-shift inventions. When she decides to secretly take investment matters into her own hands - things quickly go awry! With their savings gone, her husband suspicious, and their children out of control, Etta concocts a scheme to get back their money and save her family. There are just a few things she has to do first, including blackmailing the sheriff and holding up the grocery store. Starring Luke Perry, Elaine Hendrix and Grammy award-winner, LeAnn Rimes
Small town movies always amuse me and this movie was no exception. Simple, predictable plot but not a waste of time. It was good to see Luke Perry again. Great performances by Elaine Hendrix (Etta) and LeAnn Rimes (Pam). Not a bad movie if you don't have anything else to do.
luke has seen his prime, this reminded of of the afternoon special films they used to show. the buildup was good, but the movie left something to be desired. I was drinking when I watched this so I actually continued watching, if I hadn't been I probably would've turned it off after 15 minutes. they had a tittie bar and didn't show any, thats just wrong.
