On June 20, 2009, Neda Agha-Soltan was shot and killed on the streets of Tehran during the turmoil that followed the Iranian presidential contest. Within hours, images of her dying moments, captured on cell phones, appeared on computer screens across the world, focusing the world's attention on mass protests against the rigged elections in Iran. This documentary shows previously unseen footage of Neda with friends and family, as well as exclusive video of her recorded the day she died.
that is just another way of the media to try to get the world against iran , that stuffs happened everywhere around thw world , there is a difference between protesting and make a disorder in the country , there are so many cases like that happened before in the most developed countries , that doesnt have anything to do with middle east and how they treat women , nobody treat women better than those places ,
but wrong..these places don't treat women better..that's ridiculous ..watch " the stoning of Soraya..that help you understand the truth of the treatment that some religions have towards women..
yes but the stonning is a law in that country of the married men or women that cheat , it is a hursh law but still can be avoided by not doing it or by getting a divorce , all laws is made based on the culture and on those countries the pride is very important , so i can understand why they do that , sometimes u can hurt a person physicaly and get over it while emotional harm never goes away and can cause more damage than anything else ,
Interesting documentary which shames Iran and it's people if only for the fact that the murderer was never brought to justice and the country tried to whitewash the incident but it also should make the viewer realise that this could be you in your own countries as each has their own shame and until the ones become many in standing against any injustice this will always continue.
Politics and all these fairy taled religions need to be done away with. We will never advance as a species because most of the people are sleep walking, the system is set up to keep the people divided. They maintain this division through religion, politics, race, & economic status. Why do people feel like they need leaders anyway, are YOU really that WEAK, police yourselves individually. We all have an inherent sense of empathy within us all, and dispite the majority way of thinking. We don't get our morality from all these man made religions, plus man erected all gods in their image and likeness not the other way around. The three Abramic religions ( Judaism, Christianity, & Islam ) are the most vile and destructive slavery endorsed dogmas men has created. This documentary shows us just how bad things have gotten up under all these socially, political, & religious regimes all across the globe. 10 out of 10
31yrs ago the Shah of Iran was the King of Persia, the women were beautiful, free and uncovered, the youth were educated in foreign countries supported by their parents in oil rich Persia (Iran), the Country was rich and free, then overnight the Ayatollah Khomeini came to power, the Shah was exiled along with his beautiful family, the only leader brave enough to accept the Shah into his country was Anwar Sadat President of Egypt, where the Shah eventually succumbed to cancer and Anwar Sadat assassinated by one of his own military. Have courage as Neda had courage, her voice is now being heard throughout the world, the lady died for her freedom, the country will return full circle with its people to their former glory. The Shah of Iran had sons and now perhaps they too have sons. All is not lost. Sleep well beautiful Nada and guide your Country from Heaven.
i think this is just part of the big picture. our world is going to hell, that sucks for nice people. the middle east has been fighting each other since they have been people living there. so i think they are crazy. what you going to do? killing each other and beating their women to death. see thats wrong.

i can handle all the fake blood in te world on movies and tv ect. but when you know its real it just send a chill down my spine and i feel sick for still looking at it. we humans are animals before all things else no matter how advanced our inteligence is
Such a brave people such a brave girl. Her death will not be in vain!! If ever I have a daughter her name will be Neda and i will tell her of this story.!! I will remind her that there are people out there who truly sacrifice themselves for a change for the better of the people!! Yes it is hard to watch but if we don't then we turn a blind's eye to what happened and only then will Neda's death be in vain. As a person of this world I am obligated to watch I am obligated to educate myself on the people I share this world with!!.
