Germany was totally on the top, great game from the Germans, and English side was overwhelmed. Nevertheless Hope England will do better next time. As for Germany, I think its now a serious contender to win the world Cup.
u can say that u got robbed, but no matter what, england played terrible, and if the goal was allowed Germany would have been forced to attack, and England would have gotten demolished.. and the goal was not given, u cant blame it on tht, just like the hand of god, it doesnt really make a difference, you still got beat.
NO Germany played very well and they deserved every goal. I dont think lampards disallowed goal would have made much of a difference.
Very few england players were even trying all cup season. yet the players were rewarded with (by a long way) the most expensive and luxurious hotels to stay in for 3 weeks (I think I remember reading in the paper it was well over £1000 per week per player). And my taxes were paying for that.
Why bother to play well when you could go home early to your mansions, bentleys, supermodel wives and multi-million pound bank accounts?
What I don't understand is how players who play amazingly well for their home teams muck it up badly outside of that environment. You would think they would have put in more of an effort for their country - yet all they did was complain their wives and girlfriends were not along for the trip. Amazing

it was the best ever match i've watch thus far.. it's funny how sore loser cry.. England was crushed as hell when they lost to a 4-1 Victory for Germany.. and I couldn't have been Prouder!!
it's the same bloody reaction the Americans gave the Canadians when they lost in the Gold match in the 2010 winter games.. becuz everyone else thinks they're better than anyone else.. the Americans and the English are a perfect match becuz they're both nosed up countries!!
This was a great game that highlighted the fact that professional over paid prima donnas do not have the heart, Guts and true passion to fight to the death for their country, as an England fan I was ashamed at the performances they gave throughout this competition, they were an embarrassment, worst I have seen in 30 years, I apologise for my country.
I think you should respect the other people on here and not be nasty about the game that we lost. We needed a better manager, a manager who knows the England football team. Also the second goal we scored was blatantly in, and yes we were robbed of that and there's nothing we can do. We are graceful with our loss, Don't rock the boat.

LOL always have an excuse, can't England just admit they lost the game? I dont think it would matter if Lampard's goal was aloud still would of finished 4-2. Germany could of scored 6 goals easy. England didn't look comfatable threw out most the game. I didn't like how Capello put Terry on right and Gerrard left wing. Why change something if it aint broken. Capello comment after the game " We played well" LOL what game was he watching? Take nothing away from Germany they played well and the better team won. Overall 4/5 Argentina v Germany will be a good one. I'll bet on Argentina winning that one.
the game wouldnt of finished 4-2 if lampards goal went in.. after englands 1st goal, germany went under pressure, then the cheating ref disallowed are 2nd goal, so it was pressure on england to score in the 2nd half..we attacked attacked attacked! then germany caught us on the counter attack twice!..if the england goal was in then we wouldnt of been under pressure attacking all the time.. and england would of beat germany, being 2-0 down then coming back 2-2 within 5 mins of the goals, england would of been hyped and germany would of been crapping it.. Germany's player Mueller said in a interview: " it would of been a differnt game/result if the goal was in, but thats what football is, mistakes does get made" ..So England Was Robbed!! Period!!

that the guys in the team are world class players in their respective division teams..but in those teams they are supported by 'foreign' world class players. this gives a false impression of their skills as when you cut out the 'foriegn' element and have purely English players.. that spark of greatness leaves them
don't know enough to agree or disagree but thought it was an interesting point.. ma by we should be funneling more effort money time and people into bringing not just English but British and Irish home grown talent ..scouting done properly and create a pool of talented all rounders that can gel on the world circuit

And even at that the team wasnt that good this year, Lampard played OK against Germany, but the other 3 games he was terrible, Gerrard hasnt had a good seoson, played ok through all the games, Rooney, im not even going to start on rooney, because i could go on and on about he terrible he played. it was shown that you had a bad team as u took Heskey, heskey was a good player in his day, but damn those days are gone.. I was supporting England in that match..and i really got excited by the football i was watching in the latter half of the first half, I think it would have been a better second half if the goal was allowed just purely on the foot ball played as it was all up for grabs.
I think the English sides age showed in terms of fitness compared to the younger German side though Rooney ..just looked unfit and unwilling to go flat out
and in the second half the English side were just never really in it again.. I think positions and formations were wrong for that side with those individuals ,I think Germany played really well.. and I think all British teams need to start bringing young British talent into the divisions instead of buying players from where ever or we will never have a cohesive all round team of top class players

well, i watched this match(and every other match of the world cup so far) and i must say, Germany deserved to go through more than England, and thank God they did. England scored 3 goals in the competition and played terrible in every game. They Just beat Slovenia, i mean slovenia..come on, they were building themselves up to have a great team, how they will go far, they proved only one thing, that they think they are the best TOO much at everything. The english will now say, ohh that disallowed goal, would have changed the game, well yes, it would have, and not for Englands benefit. at 2-1 Germany were sitting back comfortably, and counter attacking, playing with no discomfort. Anf if that goal had have been allowed, Germany would have been full on attacking england, trying to get the lead again, and with that team they had, england would have been torn apart. The Germans were a better team, even though most of them were young, and when they mature as players they will be even better, but England not only got put out of the world cup, they deserved to get put out. Maybe now the English will stop thinking they are the best at everything.. because really, theyre not.

England were terrible in every game and they were outclassed by the germans, thats it.dissallowed goal or not your media and fans expectations always seem to weigh heavey on the players shoulders that they just crumble under the pressure.its a shame because collectively you have some great players and could have done well.
what has been wrong with England this world cup if we would have played to our potential we could have won 5-0 but no this is England remember..
and as for Lampards goal if it was allowed then we would probably seen a very different game maybe we still would have lost but yet again i cant help but feel robbed
