Pure drama with complicated relationships, sad storyline and excellent camera-work. Althought I hope so much more from this movie because of great cast. But it is good drama :)

movie starts out a little slow, but turns into a very realistic story. Had some funny parts, a lot of sad parts all in all though a very realistic story about parenthood and growing up. Makes me think of my mom who lives 1000 miles away from me, only see her once every 2 years if im lucky. 4/5 for me. OH and the acting was great!

A very touching and thoughtful movie.. It starts off a little slow but about halfway through I understood what they were doing (direction-wise), it really gets good about halfway through to the end.. It's got a great cast and great story of family.. 4.5/5..

This film was deep and thought provoking. I am childless, but this film gives you a very clear insight into the mind of a concerned hard working parent, who may have been overbearing,but only wanted the best for the children. Life doesn't go anywhere remotely close to how we expect it to, but in the mist of adversity and failed ambitions: We still are a family and family should prevail through anything that may add a blemish to what we perceive as perfect. Bravo. 5/5 I am holding back tears simply because..I am reflecting on my own life as I type.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie.. Made me think about the dynamics of my own family.. DeNiro's acting was very subtle but moving and convincing.. I ended up crying and smiling at different parts of the movie.. Great acting all around.. Loved the flashbacks..

I loved it all the way, fantastic movie, Robert De Niro is one of the best actors in cinema history. Really good story and so true, many grown children leave their parents behind and phone is the only way they communicate. Also sometimes it is difficoult to be honest and not hurt another person. Again really great movie!

Wow, this movie is powerful. I feel incredibly fortunate to watch Robert Deniro, and to have watched him in so many movies in my lifetime. This movie had very moving dialogue and scenes and avoided cliches. Half the theater was in tears throughout most of the movie. Sam Rockwell, who plays a relatively small part, is very good and is certainly in a very small group of fine actors.

I thought Robert Deniro was excellent in this movie, he certainly shows his range of acting this film. Not what I'd usually expect from him, that's what makes it such a terrific performance. Story was touching and thoughtful. Definitely tells a believable story of the crazy family dynamics in the world today. I give it a 5/5

What an amazing movie. Great acting by De Niro (as always) & everyone else. A really enlightening/insightful movie on the dynamics of families nowdays. Geez all I can say is God give me the strength & wisdom to continue to be a great Mum throughout my son's life, finding his way in this world and supporting the struggles he will surely face..Love endures..

Translation, Everybody's Fine. I loved this remake of the Italian version with Marcello Mastroianni. Robert DiNero is fantastic and there's a lesson to be learned in this heart felt story. I highly recommend seeing this. You won't be sorry. Bravo.
