Renton, the son of scientists, and Eureka, a girl who can't live under the sun, are raised together when very young and become very attached to each other. One day, Eureka is taken away. Powerless at the time, Renton vows to rescue her. He enters the military and is soon is assigned to the Independent Youths Unit 303 of the First Mobile Forces thanks to his exceptional performance alongside his Nirvash, a bio-mechanical armor/control system. Unknown to Renton, lies a plot to extinguish the alien invasion that is currently happening involving not only him, but Eureka too.

Uh ook. Nice to see Renton and Eureka again was very nostalgic, but no more movies plz!! Not if they're just gonna make up stuff on a whim, holy christ! Lets stay classy here and leave this classic alone. Hate seeing iconic films/stories changed cause someone thought it be cool while high off mescaline. 3/5
I am an eureka seven fan all the way!! Nothing has every gotten me to the point of tears like this series did.. and the movie was no exception! Renton and Eureka have touched me in a way that when i watch them i feel.. blissfully hapy.. if i can describe it. Now i will agree with people..yes this has some extremely confusing things going on in this movie. I could have gotten past the whole new storyline-thing completley if they'd touched it up a bit more. I loved how they brought back the entire group even with a diff backstory and they made the connection between Renton and Eureka the same as always.. but it had some scenes that were just so atroshious to the original series it made me go "what the F*#k were they thinking when they put this together!!??" but over all.. still a fantastice movie for those willing to let go of it's fault and be gratefull to see Renton and Eureka fall in love all over again..(sob sobsob) sorry.. i got a little emotional with that. but still, faults and all..I give this a 12/10!!
