it is what is called C.R.A.P great idea but crap at everything els 2/5 and i hop they do make another one, i really liked the KINGs dragon and hop on the next movie it kicks "Eragon" ass, what a was of idea
Acting wasn't brilliant but I still think it could beat half the other films I've seen on the acting front.
Enjoyed it as much as I did, the ending nearly ruined this film.
I for one have never read the books so I am not a big fan, maybe that's how it was supposed to end I don't know.
But the fact that the last scene screams "SEQUEL" nearly had me crying and looking for cyanide on the internet (it came up with funny cartoons ^^,)
This is a one film thing, no sequel! Ever!
Again this is based on opinion and I hope no fans take offence to what I have written. Like I say this was not the worst film I have seen and I think with the comments on this page it has quite a lot of success. Not one of mine.. I'll stop moydering now :)

Good movie ..I actually had doubts about this movie that's why I took so long to watch it, but it was actually worth watching..I give it 4* because some of the acting was just terrible,Not sure about it being a family movie tho..
If your a fan of the books, DONT WATCH THIS. Absolute junk for a fan. Butcher the story and characters at every turn. Perhaps worth a watch for a casual viewer who likes fantasy. as a fan 0/10, from a subjective point 3.5/10
is one of th eiggest piece of crap movies ever made. The maker of this took an awesome book and then .. it all up by changing it drastically. When i watched it it almost made me weep how diffrent (bad way) it was from the book. i guess it can be good if you have never even heard of the book tho even though it doesent make any sense at some parts

When the baby dragon started flying and five minutes later landed as a big talking dragon, i mean cmon
It was not bad. I thought it was a pretty good, actually. The actor who played Murtagh was indeed fit for his role. :) But overall it was nice, though they skipped half the stuff that was in the book. I say..3.5/5
I really liked this one.. Some say its not as good as the books No movie has ever lived up the what ppl read in book.. You can not compare movie to book.. Very well done I think I saw it in theaters 4/5
it was an ok movie, doesnt relate to the book at all, ending is completely different, dont think there will be a sequel, if u like the movie, read the book, its so much better
This is one of the worst book to movie adaptations I've ever seen. I can understand having to leave some stuff out, but they left a lot of things out from the book. If there is a part 2 I really hope it's much better than this crap.
and i must admit..i very much enjoyed this great movie, with the wonderfull locations.. Its not a "perfect" movie..but hey..what is..? ;) And yes..the books might have been much better..but you CANT compare a book to a movie..it just isnt fair to either of them.. Just enjoy this movie for what it is.. A GREAT movie about a dragon.. 4 / 5.. Suited for kids aswell.. ;)
