I was having a real off day as I must now say that I have changed my opinion of this film.
50% Rated this film as I now can understand the inward intense style of the production, and YES he is a real hero!
its a very different kinda movie,its got an old school vibe to it,true not that much action,dialogue wasent great,acting was so so yet it had enough to keep entertained,worth watching for sure ..8/10..did not like the ending..
I never thought I'd love this movie so much I can already say its in my top 10 of 2011 and we still have 2 and a half months to go. Origional intense, gory at parts, plainly satisfying. I didn't regret it at all.
Not even sure why but I doubted Ryan Gosling at first. Wow he had so many movies this year:
Blue Valentine, Crazy Stupid Love, Drive and The Ideas of March
I think it will polarise opinions, but i enjoyed it. I would definably tell people to look at the trailer before watching it coz it isnt what you might be expecting. 7.5/10
Not a bad film, but painfully slow a lot of the time with about a hundred uncomfortable silences. Also, for a film called 'drive', there is surprisingly little driving in it.
brilliant..very slow but had me hooked enuff to want to follow it , great actin, nice cheesy 80's soundtrack and sum ultra violence to boot 1st great film in a while imo 10/10
