If you've been to the Disney theme parks but still haven't explored the wonders of the Disney Cruise Line, this virtual behind-the-scenes tour offers a sneak peek at what you're missing -- including Disney's private destination island, Castaway Cay.
I went there to their 'castaway' cay. The manmade pool they created for snorkeling is nothing but a beach with clay pots here and there with maybe one or two fish in it. And when I tried to dive under to get a better look, the lifeguard nazis told me I wasn't allowed to go under water, that I had to stay on the surface. The rest of the island was a drab as well. The adult beach is prettier, but still, its a waste of time to ride out there and see it crowded.
The FACT is, Disney's cruise ship is NOTHING like what they claim it is.. just a cheesy version of Carnival or Royal Caribbean, without the casinos, and with worse entertainment, expensive souveneers, etc..
