Great act, great storyline and Jet lee does it so amazing he is a ttrue star and to have the good character suioted him well as for morgan freeman what an gorgeous and brilliant man, he is a true star a master and i like to think that he has a beautiful soul.

I loved this movie. I used to have something against Jet Li.. I think it was the fact I felt like he was taking Jackie Chans place. But thats just a personal issue I got over. This movie is amazing and its another Jet Li fav that I would watch over and over. 5 stars and two thumbs up!
Jet Li is brilliant in his own right. you should try watching Once Upon A Time In China, better still, Fong Sai Yuk...though they are chinese movies with subtitles..however I hope whoever watches them will like it anyway.
A great movie whatever you want to name it- Jet Li shows his acting chops as well as his fighting chops in this film - best "martial arts" movie I have seen in a long time - well done - Bob Hoskins and Morgan Freeman are excellent as usual - drama and action = 9.5/10
Once again Hollywood bands together all of the races to do battle with the evil white man..I don't watch movies that try to force a social agenda upon the audience. I also don't care for Moe Freeman..He is really smart and everyone else needsa teachinn......I suspected a ripoff when it became apparent that for some reason these "artists" could not settle on a name for this creation.
Two titles, same movie. Danny the dog is a characters that gives Jet Li a chance to show that he can deliver a fine piece of acting next to his superior martial art know-how. Also good performances by Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins.
I'd go as far as saying this is THE martial-arts movie for people who don't like martial-arts movies. There are some good fight-sequences spicing up a deeply human story of love, and of course, redemption.
A good watch.
