well good title for this movie. was good, good unstables characters. the behaviors shown are amazing. a little unrealistic but yet believable. i love how this teachers falls.. kinda deep, but not for everyone i guess..
This is a movie about emotions and unstable characters. A psychologically upset headmistress tries to control the lives of seven young girls in an isolated all-girls elite British boarding school in the countryside. When a new girls joins the team, the bond between the headmistress and the rest of the team is stirred, and the bond is temporarily cracked.
This is not a movie for everyone. I had to fight myself to view it till the end. I must confess, that Ms. Marķa Valverde played a convincing role. I think she saved the movie. It's not really my cup of tea.
I went to an all girls British boarding school, glad it didn't turn out like that!! A wonderfully done movie in a hauntingly fashion. Believable characters, nice setting, well done with that! If you don't mind a slow paced movie that is slightly intriguing (or sucks you in, in a numb kinda way lol) enough to keep you watching, you may like it? Though I went into it already a bit biased, which I am sure influenced my thoughts for a thumbs up.. if that wasn't the case I'd say it's slow, slightly dry, yet lovely for the era they were aiming for - definitely not a low class movie, just not for everyone I think?
