I watched this movie with my DAD who is a Gunny, he has seen 4 tours over there, and was completely sickened by what he saw. ANY MARINE who watches this monstrosity will be PISSED. What a piece of crap, worst movie Ive seen in a very VERY long time.
I dont understand , u hated that movie because of what you wrote in the spoiler? that is really the stupidest reason you could possibily criticise a movie for. how about the good story and the quality of actors. by the way what you hated about the movie happened very often in the army.
not what i was xpecting afta seeing the previews.. but i guess it was still ok.. boy o boy that little girl had a mouth on her n not happening in my house !!
10/10 Great movie. Very emotional. Truly shows the effect of post war trauma.

I like how she didn't read the letter when she thought he was dead. It was like she was saving the last piece of life he had. She read it after he came back and lost it suffering from PTSD. It wasn't until he was no longer the person she knew she felt he was gone. That stuck out to me.
Very emotional and touching movie. I can only imagine the nightmares and thoughts that goes through a soldiers mind after he/she comes back from a war. 4/5
5/5-Excellent movie. Great acting, hard to watch at times, and very moving. Kept my attention the entire time and never dragged, which is important to me. It is a great movie-a must see.
Seems like this movie left out a lot of things, but overall i was entertained and didn't try to take it for more than what it was like some people. Oh well, i would watch it again.
My dad was drafted into Vietnam and he suffers from severe PTSD. I watched this movie with him and he broke down in tears, he said now maybe people will understand what he's going through..I loved this movie. Although I don't think they showed enough about what happened after

I still think they did a great job showing what a person who serves in the military or is married to someone in the military goes through.
a masterpiece about the effects of shell shock and what war can do to a normal person, leaves you hanging at the end, but the acting was outstanding, 9/10
