Annie (Kristen Wiig), is a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony. Annie's life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she'll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you'll go for someone you love.
pretty good movie with a lot of funny moments, but the lead started grating on my nerves after a while. she became so tedious as did everyone else around her.
Some very big laughs and funny moments from more or less start to finish. This is NOT A CHICK FLICK. The cinema was louder with laughter than for any movie I have seen before.
The only down side is the 15-20 minuets of the down to give it "emotional depth" or whatever (Not necessary or wanted for this type of movie) still tho its very much my kind of humor 9/10
Ok I wasnt expecting much the only reason I had a little faith was cause of Judd Apatows involvment Im no fan of the actresses here Kirsten Wigg is just annoying but ok in this actually and Maya Rudolph has a face which you just want to punch she should really do somthing about that nose REAALLY I would change my name from Pudolph if I was her it just makes her whole look even worse lol im even sad for her.
The movie was good with some reeaasaally good jokes actually and against popular belief no this is waay beyond a chick flick i wouldn't consider this that cause technically you could consider all of Judd apatows movies like that comedy drama but most times there are guys in main role now theres chicks but its the same deal still but a bit of a diffrent light on things that dosen't make it worse.
