A college dropout gets a job as a broker for a suburban investment firm, which puts him on the fast track to success, but the job might not be as legitimate as it sounds.
A great picture to see and learn how to avoid being ripped-off by malicious people out there who are only interested in making a fast buck. This insightful movie gave me a clear idea of how the cold-call brokers work and how poor, smart and hungry they are to get their first million. They just don't care who gets hit, as long as they get hold of your mighty dollar. Greed, that's their creed; their only password.
Giovanni Ribisi, Van Diesel and Ben Affleck gave all they had to make this an excellent movie. Good as it was, it not even close to Wall Street directed by Oliver Stone. I encourage you to see it; bet yet, buy it.

Gives useful insight to the lives of the hard-selling cold-callers.
I know it's wrong but I felt like I wanted a piece of the action as the process was unfolding and the money started rolling.
But to see people's lives destroyed as a result would make me feel shameful.
These fraudulent types have no remorse.
Great movie great plot but on the dvd there must be an alternate ending because I think the ending was cheap it could have had a way better show down would've liked to see what happens with Micheal well that is that all in all movie was great ending a bit off I'll give it 9/10

I consider this movie to be one of the best not just for the quality acting, however, the material used for every detail makes you live how a salesman lives. I believe this movie helped many people in sales boost their careers.
